I'm Amanda Mason, I work in academia, I'm a Physical Therapist and a Yoga Teacher. I work with a variety of patients who are in pain either through occupational problems related to poor posture or sporting related injuries. I use a combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation to help my clients return back to full function after pain/injury

I've always enjoyed an active lifestyle and I discovered yoga 12 years ago and the physicality of the practice caught my interest straight away. As my practice developed I soon realised that there was so much more than the physical aspect to yoga.....Yoga is a powerful practice both physically and mentally and is for absolutely everyone, regardless of size, shape, fitness levels and gender. Yoga is for ALL.

I am a 200 Hour RYT qualified yoga teacher with the superb Yoga and Ayurveda Centre and I have also completed my hot yoga CPD in London.  I also have additional training in teaching yoga to those with a diagnosis of cancer. I am truly passionate about yoga and the joy it brings to both the body and the mind. With over 10 year of expertise in Musculoskeletal Injuries and Physical Therapy, my classes safe and suitable for all. My yoga teaching style is very varied, from a traditional Vinyasa flow yoga, heated yoga and a more relaxed yin type of yoga.  I to currently offer an in person yoga class on a Wednesday 'Stretch and Release' at 5.30pm at The Arc Community Hub in Loughborough.  I also offer private tuition which are held on Zoom in the comfort of your own home.

After the the summer of 2022, I am very excited to announce that I am going to be offering a Vinyasa yoga flow class, a Rehab Yoga class, which will be superb for addressing those aches, pains and niggles. I will also be offering Prenatal Yoga, as I go through this journey myself and want to be able to offer this wonderful experience to expectant mums.

I'm a Masters qualified Physical Therapist and fully insured and licensed through the regulatory body, The Society of Sports Therapists'. My sports injury clinic space in Barrow Upon Soar provides a safe, professional and confidential environment for all clients. With my experience as a clinician, I drawer together the principles of Physical Therapy and Yoga. Many of my clients want to understand their body better and what a great way to combine Physical Therapy and Yoga Therapy. There are so many benefits of yoga, to increase mobility, create greater all over flexibility, build core strength and stability, reduce the risk of injuries and develops and improves focus and concentration.

In my private tuition classes, I design the class to focus on areas of the body that need attention through specific physical therapy rehabilitative techniques combined with yoga therapy. I can also be seen teaching at Hot Pod Loughborough.

In my spare time, I like to be active, practice yoga regularly and being in the great outdoors with my family and my black Labrador Maggie! I value each and every person in my class and I look forward to helping you on your wellness journey and I hope to see you on the mat soon!
