



WELCOME!
Hello! I'm Amanda, I specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and have worked in clinical practice for over 15 years which allows me to offer a supportive, unique and safe experience in all of my in classes. In addition to teaching my yoga and pilates classes, I'm also a Lecturer in Loughborough teaching undergraduate sports therapy students whilst offering clinical supervision to final year degree students.

I am a 200 hour qualified and fully insured yoga teacher with the Yoga and Ayurevda Centre and I am an APPI trained matwork Pilates Instructor. I've always enjoyed an active lifestyle and after discovering yoga 15 years ago, the physicality of the practice caught my interest. As my practice developed I soon realised that there was so much more than the physical aspect to yoga.....Yoga is everything. Its about flexibility, its meditative, its peaceful and its strengthening and is for absolutely everyone, regardless of size, shape, yoga experience, fitness level and gender. Yoga and Pilates is for ALL. I want to help other people have the same experience as I did and this is why I have a true passion for teaching!

I offer two yoga classes and one clinical-led pilates class in Mountsorrel, which is just 5 minutes from Loughborough. I offer Stretch and Release yoga on a Monday at 10am and Tuesday at 5.30pm which focuses on stretching, mobility and includes a mixture of both floor based and standing postures. This is held at Mountsorrel Memorial Centre. ​My small clinical-led pilates class (mixed ability) is on a Thursday at 9.15am Mountsorrel Community Library. All of my classes are suitable for beginners. I also teach at Hot Pod yoga in Loughborough on a Saturday morning. Whether you are looking for a more meditative stretch class or a more energising class there is something for all! There are endless benefits of yoga and pilates, to increase mobility and flexibility, improve posture and balance, gently increasing core strength and muscle tone and reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being.
In my spare time, I enjoy an active lifestyle , practice yoga and pilates and being in the great outdoors with my family, running around after my little boy and my black Labrador Maggie! ​I value each and every person in my class and I look forward to helping you on your wellness journey and I hope to see you on the mat soon!
